Okay, so Trump pardons some crypto dude, Changpeng Zhao (or "CZ," whatever), who pleaded guilty to enabling money laundering. Then, when asked about it on 60 Minutes, he pulls the "I have no idea who he is" card? 'I don't know who he is,' says Trump after pardoning crypto tycoon Give me a freakin' break.
Seriously? The "witch hunt" defense again? It's like his greatest hits album. Biden's "war on cryptocurrency," according to White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt? Please. This is the same guy who halted a fraud case against another crypto entrepreneur, Justin Sun, after Sun invested in the Trump family's crypto firm. Coincidence? I think not.
And let's not forget Dominari Holdings, where Trump's sons sit on the board of advisors, partnering with CZ's companies. Suddenly, it's all starting to stink like week-old fish, ain't it?
The guy's got a pattern. Pardon the crypto guys, get some investments in return, then claim ignorance. It's so transparent it's practically invisible. How dumb does he think we are?
I mean, what's the real story here? Trump says he supports cryptocurrencies and wants the US to lead the industry, but is that all there is too it? Or is it just another way to line his own pockets?
